Machines for this job

Send size, material and finish — we will confirm the fit from the current range.

How we match the machine

Four things that decide tumblast, hanger, table, conveyor or a room.

  1. Section size

Plates and beams on a roller conveyor. Odd lengths or mixed sections often need a room.

  2. Finish

Mill scale off to a paint-ready surface. Say if you need Sa 2.5 or another spec.

  3. Throughput

A continuous line if the same section repeats. A room if jobs change every shift.

  4. What we need

Plate or beam size, length, tonnes per hour, and the paint spec.

Questions buyers ask

Machine, finish and what we need to quote plate and beam descaling.

01 Which machine for plates and beams?
A roller conveyor is the usual shop line. A wheel machine or room is used when lengths or shapes do not suit a conveyor. Portable only for site work.
02 What finish should we ask for?
Most primer jobs ask for mill scale removed to Sa 2.5. If you do not have a spec yet, send the paint system and we will confirm.
03 What do you need for a quote?
Width, thickness, length, tonnes per hour, and whether the line is indoor.
04 Can a conveyor take mixed sections?
Yes within a size window. Very short pieces or heavy fabrications may need a room instead — we will say after we see the range.
